Clean install on new Laptop - Lenovo T450. I'm trying to install Thunderbird and migrate over my profile from previous laptop. However, the Thunderbird icon in the dock doesn't start the program, I have to use the terminal. I have made sure the path is correct in the profiles.ini file in /.thunderbird. The profile name is the same as used in the previous laptop. Can anyone point me in the right direction to sort this? Cheers, Brendan

This is the terminal message given after I start Thunderbird.

Problem sorted by deleting the ~/.cache/thundrerbird file. As per Ubuntu forums.

You can also adjust the path using tweaks
