Screen Flickers after fresh install

    In my drive only Elementary OS is installed, I can only get to login using nomodeset else I get flickering screen and black screen if I wont use the nomodeset.

    I already tried installing intel graphics for linux and it seems not working

    please see below details.

    Adding the nomodeset parameter instructs the kernel to not load video drivers and use BIOS modes instead until X is loaded. Once X is loaded your proprietary Intel graphic drivers should kick in.

    So you are only missing out on a higher resolution bootup splash screen and your drivers should be working fine once booted up.
