I was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the lock screen. When the computer is idle I do not want to enter standby nor to lock the screen. I managed to disable the standby mode but I cannot find for the life of me where I can disable the lock screen. After few minutes my screen goes black and has a little lock on the side and I would like to disable this. Any ideas will be appreciated Thank you
I disabled it but didn't make a difference. Booooo.. ========= Found it after digging a bit more. Under Security>Privacy
If you disabled both the 'Lock On Sleep' and the 'Lock after screen turns off' I'd say you are in the correct place. Did you have a chance to retest it after rebooting? I'll do the same on my end and see if things work as expected and let you know.
Thank you Matt for answering I have decided to make one more clean install and then I have it enabled it again Seems to be working fine so far. It's been a day so far I have other little annoyances but I am still testing it and things look pretty good
