Hi, I am a complete newbie to linux, so I tried to instal linux on my Jumper EZ book 3 pro (apollo lake chipset), but when I try to boot it from USB it freezes, I don't know if there is any possible way to instal it. I would really appreciate any help or suggestion with that problem

    Thx

    Heyho,

this kind of freeze is an Ubuntu based problem for some Notebooks and usually can be resolved by using this kernel option: nouveau.modeset=0

Just while booting from USB/CD during the chooseable window "try elementary" or "install elementary", press F6, ESC, add "nouveau.modeset=0" behind the 2 words "quiet splash". Hit enter. This should do it.

    Good luck :)

The thing is I get stuck even before that, I got stuck at hyphen blinking in the top left corner.
I read solution for that is isorespin.sh but I don't know how to run that script at all

EDIT: I tried to run isorespin.sh script on XUBUNTU, but I am not sure if it even did something, and modified elementary os.iso
