switching to mint. freya is too buggy for me. the list of problems that i was unwilling to spend time fixing: 1. sound keeps switching from HDMI to "dummy output" 2. chrome hangs after inactivity if lots of windows are open 3. youtube video player goes into bad state and won't load videos unless system is restarted 4. sound keeps setting to max volume but at least it doesn't do the playback audio stutter that seems to plague lots of distros. keep up the good work - it's close, but the bar is higher these days... and i have other work to do besides trying to figure out why freya doesn't like my mint box. seriously, this thing was designed for linux and it really should work out of the box. good luck - maybe i'll try it again if i get sick of ubuntu 18 (that's what i'm waiting for and trying other distros in the meantime).
