Answered Help installing stremio please :)

Hi everyone,

I installed this distro today and can't seem to find a way to install Stremio... Downloading the linux file on their site, I'm left with a .tar.gz file which I extracted. From there I don't know what to do as there is no .deb file or anyting. I've been trying to find answers on the internet for a few hours now and all I've learned is that I have to run the Stremio.sh file but all the tutorials I've come across are made for ubuntu. When right-clicking on the .sh file and running it nothing happens.
While trying to follow one of these tutorials I ended up creating an opt directory with the Stremio file in there and now I can't even delete that as I don't have the permissions...
I would really appreciate any help
Also I'm open to suggestions if you have a better alternative to Stremio.

Downloaded it and tried it. yo only need to click on Stremio.sh file. It take some secounds before it starts.

 

I just tried again: re-downloaded in case of corrupted file, extracted it and then left-click run on the .sh file. Waited but nothing happens. It's not even as if my Laptop has poor specs quite the contrary.. Isn't there any way to properly install it?

 

first try run iy through the terminal and post the outcome;

./Stremio.sh

if ./Stremio doesn't work try then sh Stremio.sh

 

Here's what I get. I don't know what that pantheon filechooser module is. It says app already running? because there is no Stremio window open that's for sure.

Did you install the third party software, because it seems it didn't find

 

I haven't installed any third party software. Should I?
