    Hi everyone,

    So far so good, I am thoroughly enjoying Elementary OS, albeit things keep breaking and I have to fix them but overall I'm happy and so far haven't raged quit back to windows. However I need someones help for my latest issue as I don't know how to fix this!!

    I recently bought a Corsair K40 keyboard and Corsair Katar mouse, both great until I realised they didn't support Linux!!!

    So for the keyboard I actually installed some custom workaround in order for me to change the colours of my keys, it required me to compile with QT see link below;
    http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=815016

    Since using this workaround my keyboard is more customisable but now I'm having issues with the mouse which I wasn't having before. Currently if I don't run through the steps below the bottom red laser light is illuminated but the corsair logo doesn't light up and the cursor doesn't move.

    So now if I want my mouse to work I have to do the following steps;

    1. Boot up (Mouse stays lit through main boot sequence until Elementary boot sequence starts)
    2. Log in (Keyboard takes a minute to register but mouse corsair logo doesn't light up although bottom laser is working)
    3. Once logged in open up a terminal
    4. Manually remove the mouses USB from my machine and then put it back in (Corsair logo lights up after this but the cursor still doesn't move)
    5. Finally I run the following command;
    sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-input-all

    This fix works per session so if I restart my machine I have to redo these steps.

    Can anyone help? I really really love this OS so much and I don't want something like this to taint my otherwise great experience.

    Thanks,
    Michael

    The best solution I have is to find out how to auto-run this command after the X server launches.
