The AppCenter worked fine after install. Then when I wanted to uninstall some apps, I could not. Basically, all apps are listed as uninstalled, even the ones installed, when I try to install one I get a message that is awaiting on queue and nothing happens. After some net research I got it to work by sudo get-app update in terminal. But now, its back to the same thing except it shows in the apt launcher at bottom screen that it has 3 Updates. They do not show under Updates inside the AppCenter. Went back to terminal and managed to get some security updates , However the AppCenter in launcher still shows that there are three Updates and the AppCenter is still stuck in the same mode, everything is uninstalled. I don' think this is the way the APPCenter is supposed to work and I don't want to miss any updates, plus I want to uninstall some of the apps I did download. Help!

    Are you sure you used:

    sudo apt-get update

    and afterwards:

    sudo apt-get upgrade

I am experiencing this same issue on ONE of my Elementary installations (but not the other).
    Code (Text):
    sudo apt update
    sudo apt upgrade
    reboot
    hasn't helped at all.
As a temporary solution, I have installed gnome-software to install and remove software, and update the system. It is very similar to elementary's appcenter.
