    Hallo everyone,

I have been jumping between several linux distros the past few month, and I wanted to try Elementary OS. But I have some problem with installation. The PC recognize my USB stick and I have the option to Try or Install. Either options ends up with a blank screen. The screen turns off, followed by a millisecond with some text (see below) and then it is just blank.

I captured the text by filming my screen. The text is as follows:
[ 2.269274] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] No Caching mode page found
[ 2.269300] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through

If I then do a hibernate (hitting my power off buttom once) and then turn on the computer again, I actually see the wallpaper for a second and then the screen goes to blank.

    The pc is an:
    Asus Zenbook UX305FA
    Intel(R) Processor 5Y10

It runs now with Windows 8.1 and kubuntu. FYI: the secure boot is disabled. And I want to install elementary OS over kubuntu.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Sinhe,

it could be that this Zenbook is now supported by Elementary 0.3.1 (with Hardware Support/Kernel from Ubuntu 14.04.03 ). Please download the latest elementary.ISO and let us know if it's working now.
